
With just over a week left until ticket sales close, CenTax is delighted to announce new speakers for our suite of panel discussions and breakout sessions.
We’ve designed these sessions to give delegates the chance to get deep into the issues, sharing their expertise and insights to move towards solutions.
From Quantexa:
- John Harms, Head of Government Solutions, Quantexa, will join Friday’s plenary panel discussing Data, Digitalisation and Tax Compliance
- Cameron Scott, Director – UK Public Sector, Quantexa, will lead a Thursday breakout session on “How can HMRC harness data science innovations to make better use of the data it already holds to close the tax gap?”
From Government:
- Ed Hawker, Deputy Director: Tax Administration, Strategy and Reform, HM Treasury, will join the Friday panel, The Long Game – Building a Roadmap to Close the Tax Gap
- Iain Wright, Deputy Director, Fraud, Error and Debt Analysis, DWP, will lead one of our Friday breakout sessions, on “How does DWP balance fraud prevention and detection, and what can we learn for tax questions?”
- Dr Penny Dunbabin, Fraud Policy Unit, Home Office, will lead a Friday breakout session focusing on “How can the Home Office’s fraud strategy contribute to closing the tax gap?”
From Parliament:
- Clara Gisoldo, Senior Researcher for the APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax, will lead a Friday breakout session looking at “What are the biggest gaps in offshore compliance?”
